    We old vets can be a dangerous lot. [}:)] We have military skills, our tolerance for BS is pretty darned low at this point in life, we have pretty much satisfied our bucket lists, our kids are grown and gone, many of us have terminal health issues, etc etc. All contribute to an attitude of "Don't F with me 'cause I will put you down.". [;)][:D] It was nice that the vets were allowed to continue on their vacation. [:)] I'm not surprised at the local attitude. The locals rely on the big tourist money brought in by these cruise ships. If there are too many crimes against their passengers, the cruise lines will cancel that port. That puts an economic hurt on the town. Taxis, restaurants, stores, bars, tours, etc, lose a lot of money when a cruise line cancels a port.
