Consolidating... California Questions

I've decided to consolidate my gun collection since I won't be shooting as much (Basic/A-School). I'm keeping the Bushmaster, the Ak and the Sks-D (Storage) but everything else is going (auction). I'd like to take my Ar15 and a sidearm with me to A-school (so I can shoot in my free time) if that's possible.
My A-school (DLI) is in Monterey California so do my weapons have to be California compliant?
Are there places on base I can store and shoot my firearms?
I assume my weapons will HAVE to be compliant if I can't store or shoot them on base, correct?
Thanks,
Private Munkey

Don't worry about the bullet with your name on it, worry about the fragmentation grenade addressed 'To Occupant'.

Super simian, if you can't take them with you, I will be glad to give them a good home until you have family quarters of your own. I promise to keep them well exercised and well fed, although, of course, I would expect you to reimburse me for all they consume.

They must be California compliant. The AR 15 can not be brought into
Russia. I suggest that you check www.caag.state.ca.us for the pistol
status. Suggest that you plan on storing the arms with a friend outside Ca. Good luck SM.
