wow...I had to dig through a bunch of magazines to find the name of this stuff. Never used it, but guns and ammo wrote about it in their Nov 01 issue. Dunk-It Gun Cleaner http://www.cylinder-slide.com click on products and services, then click the link to search for products. type in "dunk" and you will get a list of products...scroll down a bit, and you will see the buckets of solvent.hope this helps.

I use two methods. Either spraying carburator cleaner on it (after putting on safety glasses) then lightly lubricating the parts, as the cleaner takes off everything. The other way is to get a plastic pan like an oil changing pan and put enough gas in it to cover the gun, swish it around, then blow compressed air to remove any debris and excess gas that's remaining. Perhaps this last way isn't for everybody, as I do live on a farm and have more than enough outside space to do this.
Politicians, like diapers, should be changed often and for the same reason.

Back at the weapons issue depot, we had a cleaning room where we troops had to strip and clean all weapons fired on the range....there were parts cleaning sinks just like in an auto shop with a hose and pump flowing mineral spirits...just tear down that 7.62 belt fed and start scrubbin'.Stuff works pretty good. I've found that there's enough solvents in WD-40 to do a decent job too, if its a quick field strip cleaning....
