    Congratulations Rugerniner!!!

    Funny... The first $200 was bid between two people.

    As soon as I put up this post, I saw a lot of familiar names in the bid history!

    Fess up!!! Who bid? I would have if I had not JUST bought a gun a week ago!!

    Buying one a week ago stopped you? You mean you limit youself like that? Just kidding. Last year I bought 5 shotguns. But the ones I want now are getting up there in price. Looking for some grade 6 Brownings.

    SXSMAN;
    I don't need a Squirrel gun.
    I'm going to use the 45 to shoot grasshoppers.
    Andy Griffith;
    What makes you think this is a KP?
    None of the new P-series take 7 round mags.
    8 for 45 acp. and 10 for 9mm.

    Andy Griffith;
    I hope you are right I would love for it to be Stainless Steel.
    I have the new catalog in front of me and a Ruger with 7 round mag is not listed. All 28 P-Series guns are listed. This might be an older version that has been changed since the catalog has come out. LNIB better mean 98% or better.

    Also, given that he has only two other transactions on GB, he may be a bit inexperienced and you just burst his selling cherry.

    Good for you!

    Why does everyone compare to the MSR when you can actually buy for about $100 to 150 less than that? I have seen a lot of so called deals that are not deals when compared to the actual price instead of the MSR. RugerNiner you got a deal on this one wish it was me.

    You're right reb8600, it's pretty common knowledge.

    Still, it makes you feel THAT much better about a deal if you saved $250 compared to only a measly $100. It's a welcome extra pat on the back.

    It's because we have nothing else to compare it to. Nobody pays retail for anything (gun, car, grocerys, etc.) But this gives us a refrence point. As a matter of fact the reason I didn't reply to this post sooner was because I was at the Grocery Store with my cut out coupons from the Sunday paper. The place I had my AK-47 shipped to has a P-90 for $390.00. I didn't think that was a deal yet it is well under the Msp. Bottom line is we need a Reference Point, that's why they put out Gun Bibles and such.
