Here is a an incident showing the good side of CCW, but I'm sure the story won't get much play in the gun grabbing prees.

An officer will welcome a big strong-looking unarmed passer-by when he's got a handful of resister to handcuff. But it's anybody's guess how an officer will react to someone approaching with a firearm -- reinforcement for the bad guy, or help for him? You better plan your moves, and your words, carefully before contemplating rushing up to an officer in trouble and offering help in the small arms department. "Do you need help, officer?" "Can I help you, officer?" Something along that line... If you recognize his weapon, he might appreciate a reload as much as anything, so long as you get the model and caliber right.

Why do you People from Arkansa waste that extra "S" on the end?
Conservation is what you need to practice. So Stop wasting that "S".
