Ruger Rumor about PC-9

I just heard a Rumor today( from my FFL holder after he called a dist. about a price on a Ruger PC-9 with Ghost Rings) that Ruger was going to stop selling the PC Carbine with Ghost Sights to anyone but LEO's. This is nothing but a Rumor, I checked with Ruger and what they did was take it off the market for a year to change the Ghost Rings. Apparently the Original Ghost Rings matched the patent of somebody else's to closely.
I wished I checked with Ruger first. The first thing I did was to run down to my regular Gun store and see if they could find one in stock with Ghost Rings. They found a dist. that had one so I said ship it. It cost me $489. I didn't have time to shop around, but I did know of a Gun Shop that had a used one for $339.
Oh well, I wanted one for a long time. I have numerous Ruger 9MM guns and 18 original hi-cap factory mags, 2-20 round mags and 14 -30 round mags. I got rid of all my junk after market mags last weekend.
The Ruger PC-9 takes all P-series 9mm mags.
