I have the chance to buy either a Ruger blackhawk 7 1/2 in. barrel 44 mag. 3 screw in excellent condition for $500 or a Redhawk 44 mag. stainless steel 7 1/2 barrel first year produced in excellent condition for $725. I can't afford both, please help.

I use one of the Nikon Buckmater 3-9x50 and I will not own anther scope.Leupold are great scopes but I prefer the vision of the Nikon by far.

Nikon makes good cameras, but Leupold makes the best scope, in my opinion.

Nikon makes excellent OPTICS period, not just cameras. The single most important part of a quality camera is quality optics. I like the Nikon scopes alot, Luepold are overpriced, methinks ...

If the Leupold you are looking at, is the long range model with 30mm tube and side focus, get that one. If not, save $100 and buy the black diamond, they are great scopes. I have no experience witn Nikon.

A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.

I dont think you would be disappointed with either one of the two.
