ruger 10/22 mag

Don't buy a ruger 10/22 mag i have several 10/22 customs that shoot like a dream so i bought a mag i heard that there were some proablems and that after 30-50 rounds that it would stop hanging up i replaced the mag shot it 200 times and it is still hanging up i've had the bore cleaned with a brass brush to "loosen" the seat but to no avail ... i just purchased a ruger 77/22mag last month and it shoots like a dream just wanted to know if anyone else has had sim. proablems thanks

    I just came home with a 10/22winmag from the pawn shop. I have several 22lr's but never a win mag... Any info on mags or a rear sight would be helpful

    I have 3 Ruger 10-22"s and they all work fine . I use factory 10 rd, Butler Creek and Ramline high capacity mags and they work fine as well. If you take apart your 10rd for cleaning make sure when you reassemble it that you put proper tension on the spring or it may not feed reliably. Its hard to tell from your posting exactly what the problem is.

    I think he's talkin' about .22mag in the 10/22. Not sure though.

    simonbs right i was refering to the 10/22 magnum rifle it is hanging up when i fire it two proablems 1)the mag feeds improperly 2) sometimes the casing gets stuck i have replaced the mag still having trouble sorry for confusion

    I'd send it back to Ruger. From personal experience, I know they have a good customer service dept. and will take care of you.
