I just received this in my e-mail. No wonder this country is going to hell in a hand basket. When in hell are we going to stop giving in to these immigrants.

My folks came over here from the old country and they didn't expect one damn thing from this Government except for a chance to live, work and become American citizens. They learned the english language, not because they had to, but because they wanted to.

I don't know about you guys, but I am damned fed up with the way the Government kisses their * all over this country. If they want to live here, they should live by our rules, or get the hell get out. Why should we change our laws to accomodate them.

We have enough problems with the bleading heart liberals and now this, which the liberals are bringing upon us. Enough said for now.

After hearing that the state of Florida changed its opinion and let a
Muslim woman have her picture on her drivers license with her face covered, I believe this is even more appropriate. Read on, please!
This is an Editorial written by an American citizen, published in a Tampa Newspaper. He did quite a job; didn't he?

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some
individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population
is almost entirely composed of descendants of immigrants. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.

This idea of America being a multi cultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!

"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from.

This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so. But, once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other great American freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.

Please pass this along if you agree.

    America is a Melting Pot.
As with any pot you can only put so much into it until it Overflows.
It's time to put a lid on the Pot.

My grandparents didn't get their utility bills mailed to them in Italian. There were no street signs installed in Italian. They came to this country and adapted to its ways...they did not expect the country to adapt to them! I'm sick of all the bleeding heart whining and sniveling!

The same things go on north of the border in Canada. Sikhs can where their turbans into the legion, or on the job as police, their kids can wear daggers to public school and some places they get Friday off because it is their religious day. Pretty soon there will be no Canadian traditions left either. Many immigrants don't like the idea celebrating Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years but still take the time off with pay. We had a new guy start at work who is some type of Orthodox from somewhere in Europe and he went to management and complained he couldn't go to the company Christmas party because of religious beliefs. He thought it was only fair that it is called a Festive gathering, or Company get together, so he and his wife could attend. We voted on it as a plant and it was 156 to 1 that we keep it called a Christmas party. He didn't go and nobody felt bad about. It caused a lot of hard feelings and the new guy left in the spring because he didn't like our attitude. Too bad because when in Rome do what the Romans do or get out.

    squeakyc,
Good for you guys, don't let those jerks come here and try to change our traditions. Try going to Saudi Arabia and have a beer. Like GW Bush says, you're either with us or against us.

    Chris,
That's a damn good point, the next thing you know they will want there bills sent to them in some foreign language or they won't pay it. And I'll bet the bleading heart liberals will go for that.

My feelings exactly! Nothing that makes me more upset than a patient who needs to have a young kid translating for them the whole time they need medical attention, and all they want to do is whine and complain and make the kid translate! We speak ENGLISH!! Not Italian, not Spanish... You want help, speak our language!
