No Resrve Price and BuyNow..means....

There are couple of auctions which have 1)Opening Bid Amount(OBA), 2)No Reserve Price(NRP) and a 3)BUY NOW AMOUNT (BNA). I am wondering if those who might be interested in the Auction Item(AI)understand that
meeting the OBA which is lower than the BNA, in conjuction with NRP realize they can win! Or do you think those reading the auction with a BNA think they must bid the BNA to win in light of the fact that there is NRP? The reason I ask this question is that these items, including shipping are $50 to $100 cheaper than the same item listed by others, yet there is no bid on them and they are quality items; I'd bid on them but I already have'em...

The way I've understood "Buy Now" auctions is, go to the "Buy Now" icon, and hit it, and it's now yours. Have found that by putting in the "Buy Now" price does not work even when you meet that price. You must first go to the "Buy Now" icon and hit.

    Michael,

Sometimes the price is so right, why risk someone beating you out over a few dollars. I bought a rifle earlier this year with an opening bid of $500, reserve at $550, Buy now at $600. Any way I added it up it was an $1100 rig brand new. I bid $500, found the reserve at $550. I thought I would ride out the auction then woke up and thought "First person besides me who see this and realizes what its worth goes straight to Buy Now price."

You could miss a $200 bargain by trying to save $20.
