The Good ol USA

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some
individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have
experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans.

However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was
offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is
seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely
comprised of descendants of immigrants.

However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our
country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.

This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute
our sovereignty and our national identity.

As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and
our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles,
trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any
other language.

Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!

"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right
wing, political slogan.
We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian
principles, founded ! this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is
certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends
you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as
your new home, because God is part of our culture.

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should
seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.

We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really
don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our
land, and our lifestyle.

Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and
we will allow you every opportunity to do so. But, once you are done
complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, highly encourage you to take
advantage of one other great American freedoms, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.

What is really sad is that people only became patriotic after 9/11. Nothing pissed me off more than those who did not at least take off their cap while the Star Spangled Banner is sung or played and those who did not stand when an American flag went by in a parade. Just hearing it always almost brings tears to my eyes, always has. I personally don't think they should change the national anthem to God Bless America like some were talking about months back, but that is just me. As a result of this "new patriotism" every Joe-blow has a flag outside his house. Well this is great, but if you are going to do this, also show some respect. Take it down at night and in bad weather. If you don't then shine a light on it. Their are all sorts of proper presentations of the flag set by the American Legion. I cringe sometimes seeing how people display flags on their homes now.

All our freedoms we enjoy today were paid for by the blood of patriots.

I couldn't agree with you all more. Are they politically correct? I think not. I think they are politically incorrect and they go against the majority of the populations beliefs. They trample on others rights to further their own political agendas. The sad thing is that the majority of Americans do not stand up for their own rights. They don't want to be involved, they don't seem to care about much of anything until its too late and then they are all too willing to begin their wining. These immoral people want to bring as many people down to their level as possible and they wan't to make the people who have morrals feel they are the minority, or politically incorrect, intolerant or right wing ect. ect. They rally to their causes to expand their rights at the expense of others loosing their rights. The only way to combat these deviant immoral socialists is to beat them at their own game. Stand tough, Be firm, Be louder than they are and let it be known that we're pissed off and were not gonna take their crap anymore.

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....
