Hey Konet, just wanted to give you some info. When I was "newer" to the ways of the gun, I tried asking some sellers directly on Gunbroker's "Ask seller a question". Also, read that owners manual from COVER TO COVER before you even think of loading up. Understand every word. Memorize every warning.I learned A LOT from that and it saved me quite a bit or ribbing from some of these guys. I'm sure at one point or another every single person here didnt' know apples from oranges when it came to guns. Not me of course... I always knew...

Yeah! Hang in there. I've also given and seen some really dumb answers.

Konet, I agree. Your question *was* elementary, but at least you had the smarts to ask it. I've answered - and asked - elementary questions in the past. The only dumb questions are those one does *not* ask.

Konet, these guys ar right, better to ask than to do without knowing and get hurt! been there done that, have scars to proove it. Looks like you need to do some serious reading...serious! If you don't have someone to teach you or lead you its alot tougher, my father was a beginner when I was about 5. I never showed interest till about 14-15, Thats when I mistook a black powder equivelent from a box of shotgunshells and loaded alcan al-5. What is left of the gun is hanging on the wall of our family gunroom. Cherry case felt liner and all the trimmings, including the part of the breech of a stevens singlebarrel, still has my meat and hair on it!! I learned from my mistake! Try not to have to learn from hind sight, It sucks! Reading is the first step!
