I have a 228. Is the laser that mounts where the spring cap sticks out from the front, below the barrel, any good?

If not, what's a good laser pointing device for a 228?

If you are talking about the LaserMax, that replaces the guide rod below the barrel, I think they are great.

Had one on my 226 for years.
Hasn't failed me yet.
