I saw your name on a Veterans web site.

In case you are not aware of it there is a Yahoo Group for those USAF
veterans that were stationed on Radar Sites anywhere in the world, on land,
sea or air; in any job. It has over 1500 members. You just may run
across an old buddy. If you are already a member then please disregard this

Also, there are Reunions scheduled for 2007 at San Antonio, Tx; and the
Groups' first west coast Reunion in June 2008 at Sacramento, Ca. I am the

We have what remains of one of these old White Alice sites right here in town. Also have a couple of the DEW sites out on the coast from me. The DEW sites are now contracted out too GE I believe.

Actually I spent 21 years of my life on them. Most of them in the middle of noplace much. Aglore, I think we might have discussed it before, but I had two glorious years in your home state doing just that. Actually I loved one of them. The 743rd Radar Squadron at Campion was heaven for outdoorsmen. It was right on the bank of the Yukon with the very best Alaska has to offer in hunting and fishing. I was in paradise except for missing the family.
