What "Gauge" are the tiny shots hells in the bottom corners? What are the round container looking things in the 4 corners?
VERY cool display, all of them,actually...Very cool!
thanks for posting
Kind of hard to see, but there is a full box of 348Win "Standing Bear" up there, the big shotgun shell is a 4 gauge. And some misc other cool old ammo!

They look like 6mm, 7mm and 9mm to my eye
410 2 1/2" on the right
Here are some little ones for you, 22 Short on the right
2 views of some 22 cartridges, note the 2 centerfires in the mix
Guess what the 2 rimfires are.

I'll guess that the two rimfires are a 58 short Gatling next to a 58 long Gatling next to a 1" benet primed Gatling.

Good guesses, and exactly correct.
Now, what's special about the 30-40 Krag, 303 Brit and 7.7x58SR in the same picture
Have a fair amount of .30-06 Ball going back into the 1930's. Bought cheap before the last Big Panic.
Have a fair amount of Eley brown plastic shot shells. Believe I bought them about 37 years ago. Some sort of clearance sale at the time, and temptation overwhelmed me. I bought all they had left and used it for idle blasting of tin cans tossed in the air and such. Still have a couple boxes.
Have some .22LR and .22 Short of around 45 to 50 years old. Have used up a lot in recent years. I tend to shoot it when I'm just plinking. When I am supplying to youngsters, I provide new ammo for a hopefully better performance.
Oh, I had some rimfire .38 Long that turned up in a box of stuff I bought. Also a few really old .44-40 and .45-70 in the same box of junk. Gave them to a brother who is more into antiques and collectible guns than I am.

The picture is quite blurry but the middle 303 British is a blue tipped incendiary round I believe. The other two rounds need to be clearer to make a guess. I used to collect Rimfire and British sporting rounds and had quite an extensive collection before I sold it years ago.
this is one box that fits a S&W No. 3 Single action target that I own
[img][/img]
This is the second box so one box each of only factory ammo to fit this pistol
[img][/img] If it was not for LOCUST FORK I would never had owned them
[img][/img]
This is the oldest box I have I also own the pistol that predates the ammo that was made for the U.S Cavalry
I will try to post pictures of both pistols on the Single action post
I am so on this stuff so give me a few minutes of come back later

They are kind of blurry, sorry [:(].
30-40 Krag with Scotts Patent multi-ball
303 Brit White Phosphorus incendiary/tracer (that one happens to be Italian)
7.7 Jap SR, hard to see the flat tip that denotes an explosive bullet
In honor of your Brit and RF collection, here's a couple for you to enjoy looking at
