    I have several shots that qualify for this catagory. Most of the Whitetails I have taken over the years have been with a Slug gun
    between 30 and 50 yards.

    I think my average range over the last 3 seasons (25 deer) has been in the 150yd range with the closest at 75 and the furthest at about 275, and that includes a 2-fer-one at 190yd
    Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.
