I have one made by Harrington Richardson. I believe it is stamped .410.

7000 gr per lb/68 ga = 102.94 gr

a .380 round ball is 83 gr & a .430 round ball is 120 gr. so it would seem that the .410 designation makes sense.

Unless what your looking at is a 68 caliber smoothbore musket (roundball gun), I'd opt for the 410 thoery also.

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.
