As I stated the other day on a thread, my Buddy just returned from PA. (Where he is from.)
"The mushroom capitol of the World." (According to him.)
As usual, he brought back cases of fresh mushrooms for us, gratis.
poopaki, oyster, button, portobello, etc. etc. etc.
Looking for some good Portobello recipes from Youz Guy's. [:D]

Best I've had is from an Eastern shore fisherman on Rt 13 in Delaware
aside from crabbing for our own. Which is even more expensive[:D]
Mike, I am familiar with a few of those. (Especially grilling.) I'm a damn good cook. Used to work in some high end Seafood restaurants back in the day. Every position in the kitchen you can name.
I thank you for the diverse range of options though.

I mix with artichoke hearts and shrimp, mix together in frying pan saut?ed then served over a big lettuce leaf. Oh yea, don't forget the celery salt.

That's a good recipe. The two things I use are SMOKED Provolone and I also grill some sweet peppers to put in with the mushroom caps.
Our local college has a huge hydroponics facility and the crop this semester was beefsteak tomatoes. OMG were they wonderful! A slice of these would be tremendous on your 'burger'.
