i laughed.. of course i'm privy to all the propaganda and such, and talk about going deep into the playoffs all year long. i saw this team right away as being inconsistent to downright shaky. Griz lost a lot of talent to graduation last year especially on the O line, it was obvious to me at least talent just wasn't there to be a top 8 FCS team.. BTW my team isn't any better this year SIU in the Missouri valley conference..

I wouldn't take it too hard...

I survived the longest losing record of any U.S. collegiate football team ever.

Northwestern University established the record number of losses at 34 during the period of 1979-1982. Being married to a Northwestern grad and football fan at the time made life especially difficult.[B)]

    Best.

As a graduate of Eastern Washington University (1983), I enjoy seeing the Grizzlies on the short end of the scoreboard. Congrats Bobcats, and Go Eagles! [;)]

my son's high school produced a defensive end for the Griz and a tight end for the Eagles, from 2 years ago. numerous track and field athletes for both instate schools. both football players could have signed for T&F but not for as much scholarship $ as football.

Yes they are and probably will be for a long time.

With a student population of approximately 8,200 the opportunities for the best football talent are definitely lacking. Coupling this with the academic requirements for all athletes, makes this a tough school for creating a nationally rated winning team.

I think that the Administration and the athletic departments have done an excellent job of prioritizing the improvements of the athletic programs without turning them into the mega-cash cows of other institutions.

    Best.
