golden birthday?....so you will be 14 on the 14th?...that how it goes?

    WHAT IS A GOLDEN BIRTHDAY?

A golden birthday is one in which the day's date coincides with the age of the person. For example, if a person's birthday is on May 15, their golden birthday occurs when they turn 15.

I have underwear older than you are. [;)]

get a Browning Citori with 30" tubes and invector plus chokes. It then becomes impossible to miss any thing flying through the air.

Hmmm.....my golden birthday would have been my number eight. Seeing as how I was born on 8/8/80.... [:D]

Jees, with all these youngsters on here I'm really starting to feel old! And I'm just going to be 40 in a few days on the 19th.

It still amazes me that people still consider me "a youngster". But then again, most of my friends hover around one side or the other of the legal drinking age, so I usually end up being, in their parlance, "the responsable old fart". [|)]

Get the 1100. In 20 gauge. With a vent rib barrel.

That was my first gun. Wish I had it back.

You can use a bird barrel to shoot deer with but hard to shoot a woodcock or pat with rifle sights.

Buy it now and take care of it. Don't sell it when you need a few bucks for gas. Pick up pop/beer cans instead.

You can use that gun your whole life. Very versatile. You can put scopes, mounts, other barrels, and different length stocks as you grow or your needs change. Then you can let your girlfriend, wife and kids shoot it later on. Then you can take it back for shooting pats with when you get old.

If you are a big waterfowl hunter-you might want a 12 gauge instead.

    Good Luck-Happy Birthday-Great age too!
