Springer Is it acting or is it real????????????

I have watched a few Jerry Springer shows and I can't believe that there are those may idiots out there. Men who like to wear diapers because of a lost childhood, I'm having my brothers baby and were getting married, I like to have sex in a bath tub full of worms, leaving partner for a same sex mate, I thought she was a women because I never saw her naked, and on and on. I would have to say that I think 90% of the people that appear on the show are actors and getting paid for it.
Truthfully do you think these are real people or are they all actors?

I think it is just a bunch of idiots who are willing to say (or do) anything just to make an easy dollar. No self-respecting person would get on national television and act the way those people do. So to answer your question, I think most of it is acting, if that's what it can be called.

There was a show on tv.. not sure if it was 48 hours, but it was something like that... The ones on Springer are all actors...The program went on to show how one "couple" and her sister were hired by Springer approx 4 times... just wore wigs and such to change the appearance..
While I agree there are some "idiots" and "perverts" out there, no one in real life could be as bad as what is on that show.....

I've seen a few clips from the show - and some others of the ilk. My answer to your question is another question: why would anyone who is not a drooling idiot (& obviously you are not) care if it were real or faked?

Sadly some of the people appearing on the show are genuine who are inticed and goaded on by the producers but the majority of them are fake or fame seekers.

I think the show is as fake as Jessie Jackson.I think when it first started it may have had some REAL people on it but now its just fake.

It's as real as the WWF. My son and some friends went to a taping. My son said that the whole show is scripted with frequent interruptions and pauses for the director to tell the "guests" to do more of one thing, less of another or to otherwise play to the camera. Whether those who appear on the show are paid or not, I don't know. I do know that their travel and lodging expenses are taken care of.

Hi Iconoclast..............Here is an answer to your question so you can see where I was coming from with that question. I was in a discussion with a friend after seeing a tape of a grown man having a diaper changed that he had peed and pooped in on Springer's show. All the time he was being changed he sucked on a soother, babbled and dumped baby powder all over the place. He was then put in a playpen and spoon fed a jar of fruit which he sprayed on people a couple of times. I only brought it up because if it is real or not it shouldn't be on during the day for impressionable young children to watch. If this is all acting, like wresting they should run a disclaimer at the beginning of the show stating that it is purely for entertainment value. As for myself I couldn't care less but too many kids watch whatever they want on TV, as many parents don't screen what they view. If my kids were young (say 12 and under) Springer certainly wouldn't be on the ok to view list. The people on this show are definitely not any kind of role models and the impression of how people act isn't how I would want my kids to think daily life is for some folks.
I like to joke around but as for this show the jokes over.

Squeaky, I'm sure we're both on the same wavelength here where it matters: the show is trash. No one with an IQ over the temperature of permafrost would watch it voluntarily or allow a child to watch it. When he was much younger, I caught my youngest boy watching some of that trash . . . . Switched it off, gave him some Comet & put him to work on the toilet bowls with the admonition that if he wanted to look at ****, he might as well be doing it productively.

I think its all acting.... And all they ever do is have girls flash the camera, and the stupid FCC requires that they put those stupid censor boxes over everything, so there's really no point in watching.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
