Where abouts are you located?, I assume you must be fairly close to me, if you get to StMary's for the hunt. As far as the coyotes go I have as yet to see one in the woods but I have seen plenty of signs! We often hear them when we are out sitting in our hot tub! I also had them very close to me this year before dawn in spring Gobbler season! Boy does their howl raise the old neck hairs. A few of my friends have killed them while deer hunting. There have been a few killed by cars around here.
I have seen two bobcats within the last year they are becoming much more plentiful then they used to be.

pabooger, The company I work for is headquartered in Jersey Shore. It's about 14 miles south of Williamsport on 220. I'm up there 4-5 times a year usually a couple in the summer, once in Sept or October(this year we're meeting in Gettysburg instead of the home office on 9/30-10/1, and the winter time usually about the time of the coyote hunt. Yea, it will make your eyes open wide and your heart rate pick up when you hear one close! The first one that I ever saw here in VA was killed by a buddy of mine on the first morning of Spring Gobbler season behind my house! It was trailing a couple of hens and walked right up on him! Bad Move for the coyote! We'll stay in touch about when I'll be your way. GHD

Let me know when the coyote hunt is and I might ride down and check it out. Have fun in Gettysburg, I spent a week there in July with our Boyscout Troop, that week in July when it was a hundred every day! We had a good time we had to go on several hikes so that they could get their historic walk patches!
I did sneak away on a couple nites and went down to the Pub on the circle, for some excellent food and a couple brewskis!

I am about 4 and 1/2 hours from Gettysburg, Were going to be in the Adirondacks the weekend of the 29th. I actually live near Bradford, Pa on the Ny Border, I am 90 miles south of Buffalo Ny. I am about 45 minutes due north of the Elk viewing area in Benezette.
