A friend gave me a cartridge case today that I don't know the why behind it.

It is as 38 Special with a Super Speed headstamp and it has
a LARGE primer in it.

Seems I remember hearing about them some time back, but it's not
very clear.[?]

Any ideas?

    Thanks for your reply on 32-20 ammo in the wanted forum.I have tried 115 gr. cast bullets with 2400 powder.It gave me some pretty severe barrel leading.Maybe you can give me some pointers on bullet--powder combinations??? Thanks. Old Single Shots.

    Charlie,

    We leave in about five hours to recon Asheville. It will be a grueling trip - drive straight through, recon the area for a day or two and if we like it, then find a place to live, make a deposit and drive straight through on the return. I try to drive at night as much as possible to hit minimal traffic, especially in the I-95 corridor.

    Move date on or about 5/1. [understatement] I will be very happy when this is finally done. [/understatement]
