I met 7mm Nut this evening. He came by to pick up a rifle he got from an auction. He is a trucker, you know, so he arranged a side loop to come by.

I am now up to FIVE. Five people from the auction and/or discussion boards that I have actually gotten to meet.

We didn't visit long. It was late, but he seems like a pretty good ol' boy, for a Pennsylvania yankee. I guess good ol' boys can come from about anywhere.

I suppose we could look at it that way.

By the way, it was a rare pleasure to make your acquaintance. I wish we could have had more time.

I forgot to mention that I gave 7mm Nut a bad direction or else he made a wrong turn. He ended up going north when he should have gone south. He figured it out when he got to Ladonia.

It was a pleasure meeting you also, as far as the wrong turn, I'm not sure who gets the credit for that little boo boo! All I can say is that day turned out to be one frustrating day behind the wheel. left Memphis early enough that I shoulda been there around 5 or 6pm, as some of you know Arkansas had the WORST roads forever untill Mr. Bill left the state, now every road there is under construction. Rain that looked like a fire hose pointed at my windshield was the first thing that went wrong, man it rained hard. Next some goofball driving a U-Haul towing a boat didnt know how to drive, lost the boat in a construction zone on I40 and caused a big 'ol backup, then rush hour traffic in Little Rock with construction, on both sides, now I drink a ton of MT Dew and my nerves was totally shot by the time I got to Texarkana. Saxon, I don't know how you can put up with that traffic everyday! Now do you y'all remember all the car bashing I did last week?? Well I met some STUPID truck drivers that day, I stopped at a truck stop to call Nunn and refresh the directions he gave me and to let him know I was on my way, just as I pulled in to the truck stop some dingbat forgot he had a trailer and took the turn out of the truckstop to short and dumped his trailer in a ditch, I went inside and made my call. After I came back out ANOTHER trucker tried to turn the opposite way and did the same thing, AARRRGGGHH! Now we have to sit and wait for them to get pulled out of the ditch, almost an hour. As we pulled out of the truck stop a THIRD truck did it again, man was I glad to be out of there! Now I start up rt11 to Nunns house, hey check this out, 65-70mph speed limit on a two lane road, cool! I was having a blast on that skinny road, finally got to relieve some stress and drive like an idiot for a while! Here comes the rain again, I have never seen it rain so hard in my life, it was as if god was making a point, I made it to his town, now did he say turn right or left? I turned right, mistake!! Skinny bumpy road with no shoulder, can't stay on my side of the road for fear of crashing, it's still raining! Anyhows, I turned around in a TINY gas station, Nunn did anybody report a set of gas pumps being torn down? I made it to Nunns house and we chatted for a short bit, did the paperwork on the gun and just as I was ready to ask him for a couch and a beer (rootbeer) he said he had to get some sleep, so off I went.

Nunn, I will take the blame for the right turn, after that ride to Texas I was all confused about even my own name and I'm quite sure that in my haste I wrote down the wrong diections!LOL. Anyhow next time I know how to get there!

And for anybody checking out his auctions, he has some very good deals and I'm very pleased with my new .22, it's a good shootin little gun, tried it out today. Thank you Nunn!
