Came to your town to enforce maritial law or to keep order? Would you put your snipeing
skills to work? Or would you let them have there way? What if they were American blue
helmets?

The American armed forces would most likely be on our side and kick the blue helmets' *. And a good proportion of armed patriots would be in the fray.

Why would you want to kill someone just because they are trying to keep the peace? I'm not sure I understand the circumstance correctly.

The first time blue helmets are given "peace keeping" orders on US soil, it will most definately be on.

It would be a cheesy way to bypass the Posse Commitus Act. Doesn't apply if they're "foreign" military enforcing the "peace". As soon as a US soldier puts on the armband and blue helmet, he because a member of the UN mercenary army and would not be bound by the US Constitution.

Had two, possibly more, ancestors about seven generations back hone their marksmanship skills on red blazers. With the advent of fixed ammo breech loaders and telescopic sights, I figure blue hats would present about the same level of challenge for nearly identical reasons. I don't plan on taking any orders from Kofi Amin.

If I must participate in UN missions, the Corps no longer needs me. Sayonara,I would have to say.

Peace keeping?I have actually asked myself this question. If peace keeping means collecting up my guns and ammo then I have a problem
with that!!!Again, community organization would be the order of the day.U.N.peacekeepers go in where the government has collapsed, and
there is general anarchy in the streets,or if a government has an
internal problem they cannot handle themselves.I can't picture any of those situations in the U.S.So, I can't imagine the Blue Hats having
a reason to pay us a visit. In the event of something devistating
our central government(boo-hoo),the individual state governments
still have control over their individual states.Again, there is no
real reason for a visit by the U.N. unless invited by a particular
state Govenor.Maybe a state where they have stripped the individuals
of that state of their 2nd ammendment rights(the People's Republic
    of California).

And those who live in their Jack Booted Thug dream worlds thinking that they are all-powerful amaze me.

Instead of slipping childish insults over the safety of the Internet, how about actually debating the topic instead?

Oh, I forgot! You got your * handed to you the last time we tried putting fact against fact!

    My mistake. Carry on, Sixstring.

Shoot first ask questions later if they are foreign. If they are Americans I would not shoot them if they were there in a helpful role, such as distributing food/water, repairing damages, or defending against foreigners.

In all reality the blue helmets may come onto American soil to enforce environmental law. Rouge loggers in the northwest, farmers endangering the salmon population, or your neighbor smoking in his back yard. Sounds silly but this can actually happen.

Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.

gunpaq, if Kofi Amin's minions decide to enforce his vision of a New World Order on environmental issues, I guess it would be up to us to gather up some that nasty old lead in small, easily transported, packages and express deliver it. Bad enough we have indigenous meatheads trying to turn us into sheep, I'll be damned if I'd let some pansy politician from Europe or tinpot Third World scumbag even try.

gunpaq, I can honestly say if they tried that on my land(if I had any)it would be war. When they come onto American soil and try to push their laws on us that is what I would consider an overpowering government, exactly what the constitution is for and I guarentee I would shoot at them no questions asked.
