I have some imr 4064 powder, I loaded up some 115 grain Nossler partions, with 44 grains of the 1mr 4064. Is this within the safe limits? My book doesn't give a load for this powder on this grain bullet.

According to my Lyman book you overloaded them at 44 grains, max load is 44.5 grains, starting load is only 37 grains.

Then I should be 1/2 grain under max. Right?

Sorry, for the 115 it is 42.5, I was looking at the 100 grain bullet when I saw the 44.5!

Hold up, I forgot I had a Nosler book 5th addition. It says for the 115 grain bullet using IMR 4064 as follows,
    Starting load, 36 grains
    Middle load, 38 grains
    Max load, 40 grains
