    Yeppers, start in the AM. Now I gotta get used to getting out of bed early[xx(]. Trans Carriers aint happy with me but I don't care. I spoke with them on Thursday and told them point blank I need to settle on this truck AND 9012, she asked what I meant by settling on 9012 and I calmly explained to her that the escrows and insurance claim have never been settled on my end and that I needed to settle them ASAP and that I would bring the truck down as soon as it is all settled. She started going on about this and that thinking I would give up but when I told her I had given OOIDA copies of the contracts and that I had spoken with attorneys her attitude changed, I told her it would be expensive to use legal means but I would if I had to, she will call me on Monday, we'll see what happens.
    Politicians are like diapers, every so often you need to change them, for obvious reasons.

    Good luck to you. Its amazing how attitudes can change when they realize you know what the legal issues are and prepared to use them.

    This is a first for me and I admit, I'm nervous! I have managed to drive from Cresent City CA, stop off in Salinas, Bakersfield, Oxnard, ElCentro and make several pickups then finish off in Yuma AZ with lettuce and "Red Eye" it back to the east coast and make the appts on time but this sounds so simple it has me scared!

    Punchie, I lost aporx $8500 in cash when 9012 burnt. I got $6000 in equity from the insurance claim and aprox $2500 in escrow accts taken away by the company and I intend to clooect as much of it as I can. I had a lengthy conversation with SelectFire about this and he gave some good advice, if they offer a good settlement even though it is not the full amount, take it and consider myself lucky. If I have to use legal means to get it I may not get near what the offer may be. So right now the legal means are a threat but if they tick me off by god I'll recontact the lawyer and OOIDA and drag them thru mud[:(!][}:)]
