Is that when Browning was using the salt wood and pot metal to make the High Power pistols??[:D][}:)]
Well hell had I knew that I'd have bid more!
Regretfully I sold it,but, but, I still like them.
If you are going to shoot it, I recommend taking the magazine disco safety out.
I also recommend replacing the 32lb mainspring with a 26lb mainspring from Wolff. Brownells has the springs in stock usually.
If you are going to shoot it a lot a 18.5lb recoil spring is a good thing also.
I like Navidrex grips from Brownells, they are the thinnest grip available for the Hi-Power.
Cylinder & Slide sells a "wide combat" trigger for the Hi-Power, I like them very much. The C&S trigger combined with a two coil trigger spring is a nice setup.
If you don't like the ambi safety, C&S also makes a great single sided safety that is much more positive, more 1911 like.
I have a .40S&W Hi-Power MKIII that I carry when I leave my Colt Commander in the safe. They sure are great pistols, a little time and effort and the trigger can be very nice, for not much cost.[:)]
no...according to the serial number it is 1989 production
Box is in great shape for being a 1989 issue.
I would expect the pistol is as well. Nice!
I just got. Para Warthog
I had a couple in years gone by sure wish I had kept one
they are just one hansom pistol and even fit my hands well ( I have small hands [:I] )
Nice [^]

I had a FEG Hi Power clone and it felt really perfect for my Trump hands.
Is it going to be a shooter or safe queen?

I missed a Hi Power yesterday that had alot of C&S upgrades. No one was bidding and I was waiting on the seller to answer some questions. He answered the questions too late for me to bid. I was hoping he would relist but he informs me it sold, apparently off of GB. [:(!]
I am going to shoot it some, I may do a full spring kit upgrade. Watch a vid and it doesn't look to difficult might aswell spend 45 minutes changing everything while I am in there. I removed the magazine disconnect from my FEG, so I will likely do that this one since it is so easy.
