Holy freaking tourists Batman!!!!

I thought where I live was bad, Infeel sorry for these folks here! Sure, it's good for business like this truckstop I'm at hoping to get breakfast but the braindead zombie tourists are maddening!

Mitchell, SD, traffic here looks like I-70 in Columbus, OH at rush hour, RVers everywhere, yuppie bikers going to Sturgis before the rally, grey hair as far as one can see and kids running around falling sucker to all the tourist trap trinkets!

I can't wait till I turn north and head to ND and get away from this as I know it will only get worse the further west I go!

Ohh and traffic on I-90, speed limit is 80, RVers and wannabe bikers with bikes in tow are driving slow, out of staters in thier cars and pickups are taking the 80mph speed limit as a suggestion and treating the left lane like it's th Autobahn! I set my cruise on 58mph just trying to avoid them and not having to change lanes.

I wanna go home!!

    Been to the Cabelas here and the one in Rapid City but I aint going nowhere near any tourist traps!!! I'm going to have my biscuits & gravy and I'm sneaking the hell out of here!!

    When I road with the PGR and was a Ride Capt I was told all the time to slow down case I was losing folks. Well I was running 62 in a 60. For them to stay up with me I had to stay right at 50.

    So I then started going to Funerals on my own. Not leading the group. and have not went to any in a long while. Something was going to happen we were pissing off too many folks in cars and even Worse were the Semi's.

    one time I went to Yankton SD. camped out for the weekend. a little drive north of there, hidden in the farmland, is a nudie tt bar. u see it's verboten in SD so where it is and what it is is a secret. after 12 or so room for a stage is made, the ladies appear and the undies come off. since Mitchell is 50 mi. north of Yankton, it wouldn't surprise me if it were sort of halfway between Mitchell and Yankton. if you are spending some time in Mitchell you might drive south looking for it and get lucky. got to ask some farmers around there you are looking for this one (regular) bar in the middle of nowhere, if you ask "where is the nudie bar" they aren't going to tell you.

    Went through Yankton last night, took rt81 from Columbus, NE all the way to I-90, all I saw was corn! Today, even more corn, only got to ride 50 miles on the big road then 281 all the way to Jamestown, ND and I still have 200 more miles of two lane road to go. 1st stop is about 10 miles from the "EH!" Border tomorrow morning.

    its been a bad 24 hours on I90/94 near Wisconsin Dells

    I saw this one yesterday afternoon when I was coming back from IN
