THE SPRINFIELD IM LOOKING AT HAS A POLISHED FINISH,LIKE CHROME.IM JUST WONDERING IF KIMBER HAS A STAINLESS PISTOL THAT IS POLISHED,THE ONLY KIMBERS I HAVE SEEN HAVE A FLAT STAINLESS FINISH

You know, you can always polish the slide yourself! Just get some 600 grit wet/dry carbide finishing paper, lay it on a hard, smooth surface (like a formica counter-top), remove the slide and the barrel from slide and polish away, just be sure to keep it flat, and go slow. Then for the chrome look finish it up with some 1500 grit ... you'll be amazed! Here's a pic of a Classic Stainless LE model I did years ago and it still looks great ... finish is so bright/clear you could use it as a signal mirror! Then if you dont like it, have it bead blasted to get back to the stainless mat finish.
Sorry the pic isn't better but I had to take it outside because the reflection from the flash was washing it out, I don't think you can see it in the picture, but in actuality you can read the numbers on the scale in the reflection. The barrel looks short because I had to shoot at an angle (to show reflection of trigger pull guage).
