Gun Range Report From The DU Festival/Memphis

I went to the Ducks Unlimited Festival in Memphis this weekend and as usual I was on the first a.m. shuttle to the pistol and rifle range. At the range several manufacturers have brought their goodies to shoot. $5.00 for 10 rounds (except the Tikka Rifle in .375 was only two rounds, hehe) My notes are thus:

H&K --> Great guns, sights were right on. Beware some new Ralph Nader safety liablility crap called LEM. I belive it stands for "Law Enforcemant Modified" but is an opition available to anyone on any variant. It forces you to release your trigger finger fully allowing the trigger to re-engage before firing again. Stranger feeling than a revolver, I could never get used to that, it sucked.
Everyone wanted to shoot the SL8-1 and I didn't want to wait nor elbow others so maybe next time. As you might imagine, they advised that modifying their .223 rifle to except AR-15 magazines voids all warranties.

Para-Ordnance --> The new LDA double action only pistols were so incredible I shot them several times. All are single stack colt .45 style but with a unique double action trigger that pulls the hammer back with minimal/unnoticeable effort, stops, then drops the hammer with just another pull. Sorta like staging it, I can't really describe it.
I also shot the full size traditional single action double stack and had an embarrasing failure to feed while the rep watched, oops. Happened to another guy too, so don't call me a limp wrister. :) Nice gun but nothing really new to report on this workhorse.

Browning --> I shot a stainless Hi-Power just for fun. Not much new there either except the adjustable sights are ridiculously large IMO. Browning chose to only bring 9mm Hi-Power's (no .40's to negate any ammunition mix-ups). Everyone else was really excited to shoot the Buckmark carbines and were saying good things, but I didn't bother to try them.

That's the basic stuff, did anyone else go to The D.U. Festival?

Them ducks is wary.
