I use Hydro Shock. I have seen some nasty damage ...er excuse me "instantaneous icapacitation" from this stuff.
    Besides I get it free.

I agree with the hydro shocks, I carry them in my 9mm and .40, very accurate and I've messed up a groundhog or 2 with these rounds!! Although, have to pay for them!

Mag safe is about the best to fragment that I have seen, simply because it was designed to do so. And it seems to feed and cycle the slide reliably.

    Good Luck.

Magsafe is okay in warmer weather but doesn't seem to penetrate heavy clothing well in cold weather. The Federal Hydra-Shoks and Corbon in 380 work very well in most situations. The only other pre-fragmented ammo that I have dealt with is Triton Quik Shok. It is a high velocity load that splits into three sections on impact with tissue. Tested some of the 45, 40, 9 and 380 last year on 10"-12" size pumpkins. Set three of them up in a row at 15 yards. First pumpkin looked like it exploded on impact. Found a couple of fragments penetrated into the second pumpkin only. You can really tell the difference when you pull the trigger on this stuff. It's less expensive than Magsafe per round, but higher than most other JHP.

was just wondering since frangible ammo according to all the experts has better takedown in any given caliber than jhp's.if i was gonna carry jhp's i guarentee they would be cor-bon.i have never seen one single test where cor-bon did not out perform other brands in any caliber
