1)I liked the KZ45's grip and feel better.
2)I liked the lower weight of the KZ45 (mabey a bad thing for match shooting though).
3)I much prefered the KZ45's mag release to other 1911's I sampled.
4)The KZ45's mag holds 10 rounds, unlike the other 1911s (except Para-Ordanance's P12 which holds 10, but has much larger grips).
FYI, Wilson makes a neat .22 conversion kit for the KZ45 (it also fits many, but not all, 1911s) and a .45 carbine conversion as well (also fits many other 1911s).
I'll have the gun in another 25 days or so, I'll write back again once I take it to the range
