A small ramsom is right on! I own a tech 22 and found out that a ruger hi-capacity would work in this gun, found one at a gun show and paid $70.00 for it,about 4 years ago. My uncle gave me one about month after i bought the first one. Funny thing I do not even own a 10/22 but I will.

I had some of those "Hi cap" mags for my 10-22. When the price went through the roof I sold them all for enough money to buy a pot full of factory 10 rounds (I actually have more capacity now) and enough ammo to last quite a while. I don't miss the hi caps just pop in another 10 rounder and keep going. I do recommend the extended mag release though, they make it alot easier to change mags.

Right before the price went up I went to walmart and bought 15 of them. Now 2 of them is worth more than the gun.
