Netflix DVD question

I was getting Netflix streaming for the past year and decided to add DVD's to my plan. Got my first DVD and am trying to watch it on my PC. Does anyone know how to skip past the 10 minutes or so of coming attractions and get to the movie?? I try hitting the "next" or forward button but it has no effect on the DVD.[:(!][:(!]

    Not just netflix, all DVDs have that and the studios have gotten pretty agressive with not allowing the "skip" to work.

    You can google your BluRay player model and "skip preview" to see if there is a hidden code. I used to have one that Pause Pause Chapter>> would cause it to skip the rest and go to the main menu.
