Vortex on a 22

Bought my first Vortex scope for a 22. I have to say, I wasn't impressed with the salesman who recommended the cheaper bubble wrap scope. If I wanted a cheap scope, I'd never asked to see the stuff in the glass cabinet. Yes, it's a $160 scope on a Norinco.

Funny, I just realized I hold a Norinco 22 higher than a Ruger AR15. Weird now that I think of it. I guess I'd like a scope that makes shooting a .22 an enjoyment. With a few 22 rifles, having 1 with a scope might be nice.

I have a center point scope on my 22..it was less than a 100 bucks, and seems to be very nice, it's only downfall is it's heavy.

I have Vortex scopes on an AR and a Ruger 17HMR. Both are "nuisance removal tools" so they operate under fairly precise expectations. The Vortex(s) have performed well both in zero retention and clarity of glass. The 17 is often expected to hit a kill zone between grape and golf ball sized at or beyond 100 yards and the 2-7X scope it up to the task.

I have a Horus Vision scope on my .22 that has an H 58 reticle, and cost me $4000. Of course I have a quick detach scope mount, so I can put that scope on any rifle I have
