Ironic USPS

First I am not complaining I don't really care but I thought the irony of the situation was at least humorous.

We got no mail Wednesday through Saturday due to the "Hurricane" that didn't impact our area at all. (So much for the mail must go through)

I also don't fault the powers that be for pulling the mail folks off the street so no one got hurt and could evacuate.

But SUNDAY they were out delivering for Amazon! LOL so you couldn't deliver the mail but you could go deliver Amazons packages?

I am sure their are a thousand reasons why the Amazon deliveries could take place and the mail didn't go out on Sunday but it does seem to me to be somewhat ironic.

[:o)]
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

The words "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" is by no means an official creed or motto of the United States Postal Service.

If there is a dog loose in the neighborhood they won't deliver our mail.
