I just earned my fifth star, and was amazed at all of the benefits I get. After I entered my 2000th post, my screen started lighting up and blinking "CONGRATULATIONS!!" "Click here to see the benefits you receive as an 'advanced member' ".
I clicked, and I was notified I will be receiving a free rifle of my choice.
I will also be receiving a pass word to get into the "advanced members only" section, which has really good deals for advanced members only, and where advanced members can leave posts, without getting all cluttered up with the "four star and below" type responses.

    It took a few weeks but my Advanced Members Only gift firearm makes every single other gun I own look horrible. How is my Ruger P-95 supposed to hold it's head up when it's sitting next to this new Wilson Combat 1911?

    Congratulations Salzo, Clouder is right...you weren't suppose to mention the "extras". Since the beans have spilled.....I had a tough time selecting from the M1A and the Wilson Combat....went with the M1A.

    Now Rembrandt sits backs admiring his 5 stars while wearing a MacArthur Field Marshalls hat, dark sun glasses, and smoking his corn cob pipe....

    Congratulations Salzo. You have finally reached the esteemed level at Gunbroker. Now you should realize that a lot more is expected of you. We will all be looking up to you from this point forward, watching every move that you make, so don't even think of disapointing any of us lowley people with fewer starts. Now you also need to realize that this will put you in a higher tax bracket which will ultimately help the rest of us in the long run. OTO

    Were they out of the Barrett M82 again???

    Back in the olden days, you didn't get to pick, just spin the wheel that looked like a Colt SSA cylinder, I dont know how they decided what went in each chamber but I hit the JackPot ... or so I thought ... at a buck and a half for 50 BMG ammo I thought it would put me in the poor house ... then (fortunatly, the range I go to banned the BIG50, they got tired of replacing the 2" thick plates at 300

    Don't forget to report the value of that rifle as income on your tax returns. When I went to the I.R.S. web site to try to get the 10% finders' fee that I.R.S. pays for reports about such items, eight guys had beat me to it. ( By the way I'll soon be auctioning off the names "senior member" and "advanced member" on the Gunbroker auction site, so salzo, if you want some real status put in a biggggggg max bid.)

    HEDOG- At first I thought your multiple posts was a simple trigger finger mistake. But then I noticed how close you were to the 2000 mark, and have to assume you are just trying to get to the number in an underhanded, unethical way. Have you no shame!!??
    I think one of the benefits of being in the ADVANCED MEMBER club, is we can decide if someone was posting multiple posts, and can bar those who do so from getting the free rifle.
    I am going to bring your multiple posts situation up at the next "advanced member" meeting.
