Do you really forget??

Well as you know; I hated weapons at first too. Until someone I know showed me how to use it. Then I didn't look at it as something that can do harm. Which I know it can, but only if use in a harmful way. Anyway; back to the subject, I have not went to the shooting range in like 4 months. I really miss shooting and learning to line up my targets. I am not really good at shooting with a pistol at center mass. I think once I start shooting again over and over. I will eventually get better. My question is can you really forget how to shoot if you have not been to the range in a couple of months?

A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.
should do to become proficient. BUT, safety, safety, and more safety
until it becomes a habit.
Like rugster said , you get rusty, but you don't forget. It all comes back. There is nothing more to be said about practice, target or piano, the more you practice the better you perform. I quit shooting totally for about 15 years and it took about 4 hrs for me to get back in the groove. (I recover slow).
