What did the doctors say? I hope you do not have what i suggested because i know how bad that hurts. I have prayed to die to many times to count from nerve pain.
However i hope they found something less painful. Also my nose never had my nose bleed but i did get headaches.
Prayers David

Dave I report to the 4th floor oncology ward Friday morning at 8:00 am
Vitals and labs and blood draws and port maintenance and paperwork...
Pain management specialist - nutrition specialist - nurse advocate - oncologist - hematologist...
Then I head to the transfusion room with the comfy chairs and fish tanks...
There is also a dark and quiet room...
And a room with curtained beds...
All in including post procedure monitoring I am looking at 6 hours.
I will talk to them about your suggestion.
It will be a long day - but I do get to recline in a comfy chair with a book and my music and my go bag...
If you discount the chemotherapy transfusion and the shots it sounds like a vacation.
I will keep everyone updated.
They have been asked to try omeprazole and a charcoal based antinausea liquid (both prescriptions)...
And they are going to talk to me about an antinausea shot administered post treatment.
I will miss a full day of work - they don't want to see me until Monday morning...
I am geared up and ready to go I guess.
Makaila has colleagues at the hospital who are spys for her...
Including a medical school sorority sister.
I also have a bag of gear to hand out in the pediatric oncology ward...
Hats - scarves - towels - etc...
Mike
You, Sir, are a damn good man. You are high on the list of GunBroker members that I'd like to meet.
Prayers asked for yours.
Either way they do it, it still sucks. Sorry you have to go through it. Hell i hate anybody to have to go through it.
The only advice i have left is rest as much as possible. Take your pain meds in advance of the pain. When you get behind on your pain meds it is hard to catch up.
Take your nausea meds as prescribed even if you think you do not need them. Stay hydrated i could not keep any fluids down so i had to get 2 or 3 bags of fluid every day for the last month. They wanted to keep me in the hospital and i told them no. So the only option was iv every day. The hospital would have been a better choice for me but i did not want my wife to sleep in a chair for a month.
The last advice i have is listen to your body. If you are tired rest. Try not to over do it. During chemo/radiation i was asleep or throwing up. So i slept as much as possible.
Save as much energy as possible. Try and stay upbeat even though you are going through hell. When you go to the hospital ask as many questions as possible if you think it will help. Your team of doctors need to now how you are doing along with your blood work.
Prayers asked for you and yours again.
Post when you feel like it and let us know how you are doing and we will be praying for you.
