Saw your post on raising quail.

I raised quail in Kentucky for a number of years, If you want to keep a lot of them around, before you trun them loose, take them in a cage somewhere on your property and feed them chicken scratch, for a couple days at that spot. then you turn them loose, they will continue to come back to that spot for feed. keep feeding them, and they will stay.

No I havent yet. I have been so busy this past few weeks. So busy that I havent even been able to shoot the last 3 guns I bought.
In the last 3 weeks I have went through 2 bulldozers and a tractor, Cleared 10 acres, Dug a small pond, Repaired 2 sections of fence, Pulled out the power company repair truck. After it got stuck on my property, Built a drag harrow, Caught 2 excaped quail, Bought a silver trumpt, Replaced a door in an old crooked house and now I am redoing the neighbors bathroom that thay just had one of those high doller big time contractors remodle. Yea he gave them the business. Left them quite a mess.
This week I have to install 3 windows, 3 ext doors, Pick up 10 acres of roots, Plant 10 acres of rye grass, Take a nap I hope and whatever else Toolbabe can think of for me to do.
I'm tired just writing about this. I think I need a vacation.
I did tell Toolbabe about them. I might just let her go about getting them.
