Just got a call from my youngest son. He is 21 today. First question out of his mouth was : What kinda pistol should I get ? Caught me off guard just a little. We will go lookin' when he comes home next month.

    He was asking all right. He also knows Dad will probably spring for the better of the two he would like to get. I only wish I had my Colt Woodsman Match Target back I bought when I was 21

    I bought my son a S.S. Springfield 1911A1 for his 21rst birthday in December. It was the biggest gift I ever gave to him. I never spoiled him while he grew, He worked hard for all that he got. His mother told me he was actually sleeping with it for a while. He cherishes that gun. I was glad I was able to get it for him, It meant alot to me as well[:)]
