I had a friend at a welding shop where I used to do business with. I used to tell him about my Family and things we did all the time.
I finely got him to bring his family over to my house for dinner. We had a real good time.
At the end of the evening when he was saying good buy. He added before going out the drive way "I thought you were just making this stuff up. But its all true."
And it gets even better as my typing skill improve. I dont know about the spelling though.

I have counterparts from NH (used to anyway) that would come out and we would get out the guns and go through 100s of rounds, and a few legal beverages. They would talk about it for weeks.
I have a pig story too but it don't come close to that one !!!
One time Toolbabe was at a small animal auction and had been wanting a pig. When thay start bidding on a potbellied pig. She bid $5.00 (I think thay should have given her $10.00 to take it). Well any way it came home with us. And promtly got away as soon as it was let out of the house to go for a walk. Have you ever tried to put a lead on a pig? Well any way we chased that thing around the neighborhood for a few days. You should have seen all of the neighbors chasing that thing. When we went into the store that had the auction we told them about our pig getting away. Thay said proudly that thay had caught it. How could this be thay were 20 miles away. Turns out some other real bright and highly inteligent person had bought one at the auction to. But it had gotten loose before thay could take it home to let it get lose there. The people that had the store ha dcaught the pig. And asked if we wanted it. And in a sudden flurrey of stupidity we took it home. But we did have a good ending to the whole thing as the second pig was a female. And the first was a male. Armed with the right bait we soon had both pigs in a pen. Why I dont know. But we kept them for quite awhile.
