I learned a new acromynmn today. I know I can't speel very well. Anyway, DRT. It stands for Dead Right There. The highway patrol guys use it for car wrecks when they get to a driver, and he ain't breathen cause his lungs are in the passenger seat next to him.
I thought its was kinda funny in a morbid since of humor kinda way.
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

as a 10-50 F ( Fatality). And Its a dreaded phrase for me as I hear it more than I want.We worked a 10-50 PI (person injured)about a month ago. With two 17yr olds (f) and one PI.All involved agencys are steel dealing with it.I cant go into details but the circumstances were bad.Of course any time you work something like this its bad. These young men hit a concrete bridge Head on at an estimated speed of 100+ Mph.They were driving to a party.

Our solution to media, etc., who show up with cameras or camcorders is to walk over politely with notebooks in hand and ask for identification, address and phone number. When they ask why, we tell them that, as a witness to the event and/or aftermath, we need to know how to contact them when it's time to subpoena them for court. You'd be amazed how fast they leave.
