Anybody have the scoop on alloy frame HI-Power pistols? I really like my steel frame HP and was wondering if this alloy pistol has any issues I should be aware of.

Still hard to beat the all steel HP though! I wonder what JMB would think about alloy frames on the 1911 and Hi-Power?
This seller always has lots of High Powers. Mostly imports of police trade-ins. Can be very beat up. But he's had pristine guns and even sequential serial numbers at times.

I've bought from CDISales before and they were very nice to deal with.

I've been tempted before, but some of those parkerized guns are really pitted.
How does the saying go? Buy once cry once?

True. If cheap enough I figure they are suitable for under the truck seat, in the tackle box sort of guns.
Still, sometimes they have some real nice ones too. Those are not on the cheap end though.
I don't think a beat up gun with an aluminum frame is worth taking a $525 chance.
