Looks like Obama administers have given the green light to faulty work to improve immigration candidates more chances to contest when picked up and sent to immigration court!!
The fix is in so democrat judges can be lenient under the law regardless of policies set by The Trump administration!

DHS OIG disclosed that USCIS had sent potentially hundreds of Green Cards to the wrong addresses.
DHS OIG says that, in fact, the problem was far worse than originally thought. Over the last three years, USCIS produced at least 19,000 cards that included incorrect information or were issued in duplicate. Additional mistakes included over 2,400 immigrants approved for 2-year conditional residence status being inadvertently issued cards with 10-year expiration dates. The agency also received over 200,000 reports of cards potentially misdelivered, or not being delivered to approved applicants.
The majority of the card issuance errors were due to the flawed design and functionality problems in the agency's Electronic Immigration System (ELIS). The delays and cost overruns of the ELIS system have been documented in previous OIG reports. Although USCIS conducted a number of efforts to recover the inappropriately issued and missing cards, its efforts to address the errors have been inadequate.
"It appears that thousands of Green Cards have simply gone missing. In the wrong hands, Green Cards may enable terrorists, criminals, and undocumented aliens to remain in the United States," said Inspector General John Roth. "It is vital that USCIS ensure better tools and procedures are in place to mitigate such risks."

Regardless of the piddly 220,000 "green cards" mis-issued or poorly addressed, there are STILL 40,000,000 ILLEGALS in this country that have not applied for citizenship, still don't pay taxes, and still artificially depress wages wherever they wind up.
O'blammy's "legacy" continues to defile America; he DID say he would "fundamentally transform" America, and he gave it his best shot.

I submitted this fix to HLS about a week ago when I first read of the problem.
It's not a hard fix. Call in all the green cards and reissue new green cards with a hologram on them. Similar to MPC script to prevent black marketeering.

Aside from the potential swarms of Dealer Special sedans & nighttime helicopter orbits of your location for pointing out a solution to the folks in charge, there's the problem of either activating every agency to enforce a "race-based" green card holder location/identification/re-issuance decree ( uh-huh), or discovering that the points of contact for most of them have changed.
The problem was identified in nM by the Secretary of state, who figured she'd prove that the (R) line that illegals won't use the DL for insurance was wrong.
OOPS!
Appears that of the over 129,000 licenses issued to illegal aliens ( a really compassionate D idea) so far, almost 18,000 are still in the state collecting benefits.
The remainder are in the wind.
>>> It will be an enhanced state issued RFID chip driver license or ID card. Of Course Federal agencies will be the biggest user of them to ID you.
President Trump is not going to interfere either!

The people at CIS who came up with the ELIS are not government employees, they are contractors. The actual programming & testing of the system was done by other contractors; when they thought it might work, they hired still another contractor to print the cards & mail them.
So, to fix the mess, they need to task the prime contractor with figuring out what when wrong. Then, they need to extend the contracts with the other contractors to redo all their work. (All Federal contracts are FFS -- Fee For Services; everyone gets paid whether what they did worked or not.)
If you think that the federal government doesn't work well now, wait until the Republicans get through with it. Chaffetz & Gingrich are even more dangerous than Reid & Pelosi; they will eviscerate it worse than Al Gore & Slick Willie.
Good people have been leaving the federal government since 1987, when the old retirement system was closed to new employees. Pay for professional & technical employees in private industry is 30% higher; for next year, Obama gave them a 1% increase. Pensions have been reduced & the cost of pensions has increased.
The real problem is that there are 8.5M contract employees doing the work that federal employees used to do. There is no limit on the pay of contract employees. Company executives are quite wealthy. And, there is a lot of money that goes to the campaigns of selected Members of Congress.
