Friday Morning on way to Work
Ended up In A Working Mans Parade...
"Stuck Behind a School Bus"
Now the Drivers are taught to get the Kids to Watch Them When They Stop
The Kids are focused on the Bus Driver Watching for his hand signal to Cross the highway
Stop after Stop
Teaching these Kids to Not think For themselves
And to Trust their lives to others
When They need learn to be Responsible For their Own Actions in Life.
What Happened to Look Both Ways

All you have to do is look at their parents that are walking around like idiots looking down at their I-phones as they walk out into traffic or they're walking around on the sidewalk running into people or falling into open manholes to know where their kids get their stupidly from.

Some of these kids scare the chit out of me, getting on and off the buses. People are in such a rush, they go around buses and don't stop when the lights are flashing. They try to beat the buses lights from yellow to red. My friend John, ran over a kid in Atlantic city, years ago, running into the street, to catch a bus. He darted out between tow cars and John never saw him. He was 8 years old. The kid died instantly. The parent had to pull people off of him. It was a black community and they wanted street justice. The parents testified that no one could have stopped from hitting their son. My friend never drove again. Till this day, he is still close friends with the family of the boy he killed by accident. or the ones going into the store from the parking lot.

"I am walking across these pretty white lines in front of the doors. That guy has to stop and wait for me. He will - because I am walking across these pretty white lines - so I don't even have to look."

Well.....ever since the DEMOCRAT POSPOTUS peanut farmer created the Dept of Education, GOVERNMENT schools have transformed into leftist indoctrination centers.

If you want your children to be knowledgeable, personally responsible, self reliant, that can think critically, make good decisions and most importantly; support themselves, get them the hell out of GOVERNMENT schools.

It's a mindset and a way of life. My parents and I as a parent taught and trusted. Roads generally have traffic and folks need to cross safely. It really is possible for youngsters to cross roads safely without help.

Firearms are another case in point. I always knew and my kids always knew the difference between a toy and the real deal. A child of five is well able to understand danger and death if taught properly and a child of twelve should be able to be 100% trusted with a firearm.

But we who teach are in the minority. Today it's almost always about the collective rather than the individual. Much easier to simply look at the bus driver than make a decision on one's own. And this is precisely when things go bad that some of us will make it while others won't.

It really boils down to a mindset.

I don't see that as a problem. The driver is in a unique position to use his mirrors to see if cars are coming from behind the bus, something that a child crossing in front of the bus can't do.

The real problem is that so many drivers are not paying attention, & don't see that big yellow thing with the flashing red lights. Or, they see it, & are too stupid or ignorant to stop.

Some jurisdictions are now installing video cameras on school buses; they are activated by the bus stop sign being extended. Film is collected by the police, & they mail hefty fines to offenders who illegally pass the bus.

Reminds me of yesterday. Idiot neighbors with kids had their spawn running around the drive way as I was bout to leave. The idiot "mom" tells the kids "watch out he (referring to me) I was going to run them over". Instead of saying get off the drive way she threatens the kids I will do them harm.

Came back a few minuets later now one of them is sitting by the sidewalk on the drive way with idiot granny (older than the idiot moms) looking at a cellphone. Didn't tell the kid to get off the drive way. Global EMP can't happen soon enough. Maybe if it's big enough it might disrupt electricity into non-existence. Make me swing wide to get in to my slot. I should've backed up close to them and let my car run a bit so they could breathe in the exhaust. But why waste the fuel on *?

A friend down the street was sitting in his living room, & he heard repeated banging on the side of his house. He went outside, & the kid next door was bouncing a ball on the side of my friend's house. The friend knocked on the door of the kid's house, & the father came out. The friend said to the father, "why isn't your kid bouncing the ball on his own house?" The father said, "leave him alone, I don't want to stifle him!", & walked back into his house.

The lesson I learned from that is: stupid people raise stupid children.
