Another idiot at our airports...

Was just watching the news and some doofus got caught with what seems like a potmetal 9mm in the San Jose intl airport. The excuse? "uh, didnt know that it was still there..." one of these days, these incidents will cease to amaze me.

    Hey, at least they didn't shut down the whole airport and sweep it for bombs. Some idiot in LAX sidestepped a metal detector a couple weeks ago and they evacuated all people, including those *sitting in planes preparing to leave,* from half of the airport-- about 30,000 people. At least 10,000 people (including myself) missed their scheduled flights, all because they didn't stop this guy at the source of the problem. Reminds me of certain other laws we have...

    Remember the old Samsonite Luggage commercials where OJ would run through the airport terminal jumping over obstacles? Id like to do a spoof remake of it and have airport security blast him just as he leaps through the air and then the director would run out confused screaming cut Cut CUT and run to the aid of his beloved actor...lol...

    When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....
