I was thinking about the murder of Brandon Lee,while filming the hit movie THE CROW.His death occured in NC while doing a shooting scene only problem was someone had put live ammo in one or more of the guns.Did they ever come to a conclusion as to what happend, was there any charges in the case. There was no way it was accidental. They kept it hush hush. And if it was solved I never heard about it.Were charges brought forward in the case??

My understanding of what has happened is different than what you describe.I've read that a dummy round(a cartridge look-alike only no live primer or powder)had been inserted into the revolver prior to it being used to shoot blank rounds. One of the dummies lost its bullet which found it's way lodged in the barrel. Why nobody who was responsible did'nt notice this is anyone's guess. When the blank round was later fired,it propelled the bullet pretty much as if it were a conventionally loaded cartridge. The rest is history(sadly).Regards

I had seen the same thing Rubein00 is talking about.A round with a low powder charge got lodged in the barrel and then for the scene they loaded movie blanks with a double powder charge for flame effect and it had enough juice to push the lodged bullet out and kill Brandon.I am not sure but I think the bullet was one of those crimp nosed rounds that looks live so the revolver doesnt look empty on camera but I also heard that it was a mistake at the firearm supplier and a live round accidently got put in with the blanks and it just so happend to be a .44special with a very light powder charge. No charges though as far as I know.

I heard what rugster heard. I think I am going to have to do some looking in to this.

If you will blame gun makers for every shooting then blame car maker for every car accident.
