GUN LAWS AND TAXATION

Tax laws and gun laws run a parallel,
Laws are supposed to be passed by the house of representitives, and congress, which are supposed to be representing the people.
Therefore passing laws that the people agree with, be it tax laws or gun laws.
When was the last time you were asked by "YOUR REPRESENTITIVE" if you agreed to a tax law or a gun law, or any other law for that matter.
These people vote only on the way they feel, and the people be damned.

We had a good U.S. Representative who just retired a couple of years back. He really cared what his constituents thought. He used to hold a lot of town meeting forums and solicit input by mail and actually publish the results of his solicitations so you could compare his voting record to the desires of the the folks in his district. We need more Representatives in D.C. like Jack Metcalf.
